Economic Independence of a woman is immensely important aspect of woman empowerment. Economic independence gives her a sense of empowerment. Though, it just not includes an earning by a woman but her right on family income and resources, her active participation in economic decision making and control over the earning.
Smaller Women Labour Force Participation, higher percentage of women in an unorganised sector, unequal pay, unemployment are other critical areas of concern for BSS.
BSS advocates for her constitutional right on property, Equal Right on family resources i.e. land, home, investments. We sensitize women to undertake role and responsibility in economic decisions of a family like, which crop to cultivate, admission of children in which school, where to invest money etc.
