Gender Equality

4. Gender Equality

SDG – 5, 10

Gender Equality is a fundamental human right. SDG 5 aims to achieve gender equality, with a focus on empowering women and girls. Gender equality defines equal access to education, health, political participation, resources, and equal respect to aspirations and dignity to fulfil the potential. BSS is working on gender sensitization to tackle discrimination and gender-based violence. Equality promotes Harmony in family. Harmony within family and complimentary equality between men and women are key factors. They are not a binary or two classes nonetheless they are inter dependent, interconnected and interrelated to each other. To overcome gender inequalities and strengthen women’s rights cooperation, active participation of men is crucial.

To create Equal and Just society and Eradication of all types of discrimination within the family and society BSS organises campaigns and awareness programs.
