‘Women’s Health is Nation’s Health’ is not just a slogan but a foundation of Healthy Nation. BSS believes, access to affordable health system is basic right of every citizen. For ensuring good health and wellbeing to every girl child and woman we conduct health check-up camps, breast cancer awareness, awareness on nutrition and menstrual hygiene, vaccination, Yoga and different aspects of health. BSS study on Use and disposal of sanitary napkins has promoted menstrual health and solutions to disposal mechanism. Global issues impacting health and wellbeing like Food scarcity, Zero Hunger, Climate Change are areas of concern for BSS.
An issue of commercial surrogacy involves reproductive rights of women, which has health implications and medico-legal, social and human aspects. The Surrogacy (Regulation) Act 2021 includes suggestions given by BSS based on our research findings and the policy interventions.

Khule me Band – As a part of ‘Swacha Bharat Abhiyan’ BSS started a Campaign ‘Khule me Band’ for men appealing Stop urination in the open and against open defecation.
